Welcome to the UNOFFICIAL Northborough Fire Department!! The NFD services the Town of Northborough, it's people and all of those who travel through Northborough. The Fire Department responds to all types of emergencies, including Fires, Medical Calls, Motor Vehicle Accidents and a variety of other calls.
The town, located about 30 miles west of Boston, has approximately 14,000 people in it at any one time and covers an area about 14 square miles. The fire department also covers sections of Interstate 290. Along with responding to it's own town's emergencies, the NFD also can be called to assist surronding towns, such as Westborough, Southborough, Shrewsbury, Berlin and Marlborough.
Brush Burning Season 2008
Brush burning season is from January 15 - May 1, 2008. You may pick up a burning permit at the Fire Department Sunday thru Saturday during normal business hours. If there are any questions, please contact us at (508) 393-1538.
