May 15, 2006 - The Town of Northborough Board of Seletcman honored the retirement of Call Firefighter Paul Desautels Monday night, for 40+ years of Service. Paul has been a member of the Northborough Fire Department since joining in 1965.
He is also the active president of the Northborough Firefighter's Association, an organization designed to support injured call firefighters in the town. Paul was supported by his wife, his son Jamie (a Career Firefighter in town), the chief of Department, David Durgin, and a number of other Northborough Firefighters. In recogonition of Paul's service, the town has declared May 31st "Paul Desautels Day"...
